Hatha Yoga
Asana, Pranayama, and Yoga Nidra for complete well being. My Hatha Yoga Class is influenced by the flow of vinyasa, therapeutic benefits of viniyoga and classical yoga postures (asana). The class combines asana and pranayama (breath-work) to strengthen and tone the body, improve the flow of energy and help regulate the physical systems of the body and relaxing the body and mind. The class ends with yoga nidra, a deep relaxation to leave students renewed, calm and with a positive outlook. Suitable for beginners and for those wanting a physical workout alongside a calming, meditative approach for complete well being.
Power Yoga
Power Yoga is a form of Vinyasa Flow which simply means each asana (yoga pose) flows into the next, so that your body is continually working, either building upon the previous asana or counter posing bringing the body into balance. Power yoga increases your flexibility, improves your strength both physically and mentally as well as toning and defining your muscles. Power yoga is challenging but rewarding, the more you practice, the more you will enjoy your practice as your body becomes stronger and suppler. The flow of Power yoga creates fluid strength and a natural agility which can help to improve your ability in other sports and prevent injury. There is a short relaxation at the end of every practice to leave you feeling calm and content.
